Wow, I've let a lot of time go by

Okay, timing has been really off to get the entries up here, but here are my entries since my last post:

Yes, I too am noticing a couple of themes when I work.  Lets just say that there has been too much loss lately and that I am also trying to remind myself why I am continuing to press through with some things.

I am grateful that seeing Ann discover that she can bat her toys in her gym makes me happy.

i am thankful that i have a home to go to after a stressful day at school. that i can have a roof over my heat and a place to sleep at night.

i am thankful for my sister Melissa and that she listens to everything that i say...no matter what it may be!!!!

I have a feeling that there will be a theme for what I'm thankful for whenever there is a day that I work.  Especially if it was not necessarily a good day in the unit for whatever reason.  Wednesday was a work day and unfortunately there was a scenario that did not end as we wished it would have.

I am extremely grateful that I've had the chance to hold my daughter in my arms as she breaths, that I've already seen her grow and learn, and that her start in life was as it should be for all.

i am thankful for my friends because they help me be who i am. and they accept me for who i am and they do not judge me for anything that i may or may not do. they love me for who i am and thats that. i accept them for who they are.

I returned to work today.  I am grateful today that my labor and delivery were basically routine.  It was a different eye opening to be in work today and hearing some of the history's of my patients.

I am grateful that I have the knowledge I need to raise my child even if it makes me a little paranoid at times.  It is amazing what things people just don't know despite the infiltration of this knowledge in media and such.

I am grateful that I live in a place that allows me to get out and walk the neighborhood (i.e. it's safe, has sidewalks, etc)
